Syðri-Hagi offers accomodation in an all year around cottage in Árskogsströnd.

The cottage is 25 square meters, built 2016 - 2017. The cottage has one bedroom with two beds (2 beds*90 cm. Possible to push the beds toghether as a double bed). Also there is a sleepingcouch for two in the livingroom. In the kitchen there is a refridgerator with a small freezer, stove, owen with microwave function. Facilities for four persons. There is also a TV in the cottage. On the terrace there is a hot tub and a gas grill. Wifi is in the house.

 Stores and petrol stations are in Dalvík (15 km) and Akureyri (28 km).

The cottage is in a peaceful place on the land of farm Syðri-Hagi with lovely ocean views. Located on the west side of Eyjafjörður in north Iceland. You can explore the majestic mountain ranges and welcoming valleys, either by car or on foot.

In wintertime Aurora lights can frequently be seen from the cottage on clear and crisp nights. There are also many good skiing areas within easy reach.

Hiking: In the small forest on the hills above the cottage, Kötlufjall (the mountain above), in Þorvaldsdalur and Svarfaðardalur (Valleys nearby).
